NHS Dental care
At Anna House Dental Practice we are pleased to offer a full range of NHS Dental Services (subject to capacity) to our patients. This covers treatments that are clinically necessary to maintain healthy teeth and gums, including fillings, crowns, dentures and root canal treatment.
NHS dental charges
Band 1 – This covers an examination, diagnosis (including X-rays), advice on how to prevent future problems, a scale and polish if clinically needed, and preventative care such as the application of fluoride varnish or fissure sealant if appropriate.
Band 2 – This covers everything listed in Band 1 above, plus any further treatment such as fillings, root canal work or removal of teeth but not more complex items covered by Band 3.
Band 3 – This covers everything listed in Bands 1 and 2 above, plus crowns, dentures, bridges and other laboratory work.
NHS Patients please Note:
Our NHS appointments are subject to limited capacity. If you are an NHS patient that has not been to our practice for 2 years or more you will be automatically de-registered and will need to re-register.
We currently operate a NHS waiting list.
We also run a strict “Did not attend” and “Late cancellation policy” – This means if you fail to attend 2 appointments or late cancel 2 appointments you will automatically be deregistered from the practice.
Late cancellation is when you do not give 24 hours’ notice that you will not be attending the appointment
This is to ensure that we have the capacity to see as many patients under the NHS as possible within our limited capacity
Please respect our staff and rules as the NHS is a very limited service
